Rebecca Michael Zeissler is an experienced artist who specializes in children's book illustration and twelfth-scale (aka 'dollhouse') miniature paintings.
The miniatures are primarily executed in oils,
but some pieces are rendered using ink.
The average size of these pieces is 2-1/8 x 1-11/16 inches (55 x 42 mm) --
and that includes the frame!
Michael Zeissler has been working as an illustrator for more than 25 years, with a focus on pen and ink for newspapers and magazines.
Recently, children's books have caught the artist's attention,
